Little Love Letters - Our Wedding Day
Hi all! Welcome to another little look into our story. Tyler and I have been married now for 5 years (wow time seriously flies!). I loved using this blog post as an excuse to go through our wedding photos and videos again and reliving that day with Tyler. Let's be real though, I didn't really need an excuse. One thing I can say having been through the wedding planning process myself, deciding priorities is very helpful. When Tyler and I became engaged, our top priorities for our wedding were: photo & video, the venue, and a plan. We knew that even if we didn't have the most expensive flowers or food or even the most luxury location, a great photographer would capture our day in the most beautiful way possible and the images would last forever. Our wedding was in May, in Oregon, which can be dicey in terms of weather. BUT we lucked out and had the most beautiful day and able to keep our outdoor ring ceremony and reception which was one of my dreams.
Looking back on my own wedding, I am reminded of why I love photographing weddings and couples. I LOVE capturing people's love stories and being a part of documenting their family. I enjoy getting to see people who love each other make a commitment to be there for one another and to have each other's backs. And most of all, I love getting to capture photos that my couples can look back on, that capture the way they feel about each other and the joy of the day. Photos that they can look back on and relive the moment years down the road.
