Little Love Letters - Tyler Proposes
I can't believe this was 4 years ago, but here we are! I remember being home for Christmas break and missing Tyler. We had only been away from each other for a couple of days since dating and I was already so used to seeing him every day. He came up with this cute idea to FaceTime on New Year's Eve for the sunrise so he could see the sunrise from my favorite spot growing up. I thought it was so sweet.
New Year's Eve morning came, and I got all bundled up and ready to head over. As I approached the park, I noticed the gazebo surrounded in twinkle lights. Walking up closer, I noticed the candles, the rose petals on the floor, and the heater in the corner (if you know me, you know that I get cold way too easily; Tyler really did think of everything).
The weird part was when Tyler still called to FaceTime. But, when I saw him come out behind the playground and start walking towards me, I knew this was way more of a special moment than I anticipated. I took off running to hug him, and then we headed back to the gazebo where Tyler took to one knee and asked me to be his lifetime adventure buddy :).
I love the way we got to start the year together, and get to spend all upcoming years together <3.
